Another birthday!

Ok, so today is Nur's bday, we already plan early to surprise her by buying lots of food and a cake to celebrate together with all the other office staff, but when lunch was over, she's still not here in the office so my other colleague decide to txt her and told her that she have alot of work to do and that she needs to come back to the office pronto, well, i guess she had some problems so she reply our txt saying she couldn't come, we were all disappointed, but then she came....then we ate and sang happy birthday song to her and i guess she was happy in a way despite the problem she still have. Anyway, im glad she was able to make it or else it wouldn't be fun without the birthday girl....Happy Birthday Mit.

Yesterday Audrey came to my house and we sing some karaoke songs, all the very powerful song and she told me Charice Pempengco singing the song by Whitney Houston "one moment in time", and it was fantastic, as usual, i love her voice, she's only 15 and yet have a voice even a 23yr old girl like me are so envious of. I would really be very interested if there is a course that teaches singing.

I was at home the whole day yesterday, didnt go to work as i felt sick, flu, cough, headache and all, so i decide to go clinic and get a sick certificate.....i thought i could rest once im back from the clinic but thanks to my sis, i have to sent my bro to tuition and take her to KB to fix her guitar cable...... -.-', yah, some rest....

Anyway, after that, when i got home, i watch the anime "claymore", its really an interesting anime series, its about monster and warriors who are hafl human half monster that kills the monster, something like bleach, the only thing is all those warriors are female and they are 47 warriors, each based on one continent. These anime series focused mostly on the last warrior, the 47th warrior, Clare, who is actually just one-fourth monster.....These series shows how they fight these monster, Yoma....its really very nice.....this series is actually recommended to me by my very special friend, then now i recommend it to anyone who is a fan of anime...... :) Good Day.....

Teeth Whitening Methods
If you are looking to whiten and brighten your smile, there are many teeth whitening methods available. Many of the professional
teeth whitening methods are expensive and are done through multiple trips to the dentist. Other, more affordable, teeth whitening methods can be done at home.

Laser Teeth Whitening
This professional teeth whitening process consists of the cleaning and removal of any plaque along the gum line, followed by the application of a peroxide gel. Then a special laser light is used to activate the gel to whiten the teeth. Dentists claim that this process can whiten teeth by as many as 10 shades in one sitting. The cost for laser teeth whitening can vary drastically from dentist to dentist depending on the technology used and your desired level of whiteness. Often this method can cost in excess of $2,000.

Professional Teeth Bleaching
A special teeth bleaching gel is applied at the dentist office, followed by a special activating light. This procedure usually takes about two hours and costs less than $1000. Patients are given a home bleaching kit for a self follow-up treatment.

Custom Tray Bleaching
Patients go to the dentist office to be fitted with a custom mouth tray. They are given a bleaching gel which is placed in the tray and worn for a period of time each day. This period is normally two hours but sometimes can be overnight. This procedure is a more gradual process than the previously mentioned methods and takes weeks for patients to see the full whitening effect. The cost, however, is much less than the other professional treatments.

At-Home Whitening Methods
There are several over-the-counter products you can use to whitening your teeth at home, including pastes, overnight gels and tray methods. When choosing a method, consider the cost of teeth whitening. At Makeup.com, you can find affordable teeth whitening systems from top brands such as GoSMILE.

Age: 25
Hometown: Blue Springs, MO
Favorite Quote: "Pain don't hurt." - Patrick Swayze in "Roadhouse"
Audition City: Omaha
Musical Influences: Our Lady Peace, Big Wreck.
David Cook is one of my favourite contestant for this season. I love his voice coz its interesting and its really romantic, if a guy with that voice sings and plays the guitar to a girl, i think that girl will be the luckiest girl. Actually i don't think David Archuleta is bad, he is infact quite good and talented, but i think what David Cook have is his own style in making a song his own which is why i think its very unique...hmm, im just wondering how he felt after singing a song after every performance, cause he doesn't really show it. He look cool after every song.....
One particular song i love sang by him was Mariah Careyis "Always be my baby", he sang it in his own version which was cool and it sound romantic, and also Aerosmith "I don't wanna miss a thing", i think Nickleback songs would suit him, or maybe slow rock, David, u rock....

Taken from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fashion_designer

Most major countries have their own fashion industry, including Belgium, Spain, Portugal, India, The Netherlands, Germany, and Australia. However, only five nations have established truly international reputations in fashion design. These countries are France, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Italy, and Japan. Below are brief descriptions of the fashion industry in each country.

French fashion design
Most French fashion houses are in Paris, which is the capital of French fashion and of the world. Traditionally, French fashion is
chic and stylish, defined by its sophistication, cut, and smart accessories. Among the many Parisian couture houses are Chanel and Christian Dior, who present exclusive fashion shows in their salons; other designers display their work at the designer collections that are held twice a year.

British fashion design
As in France, the majority of British fashion houses are based in the capital, London. Where as the French are considered the epitome of style and fashion in ladies' garments, the pinnacle of men's is considered to be London[
citation needed], Savile Row in particular. British fashion houses are associated with a very traditional, British style: elegant, yet conservative cuts, fine yet not overly extravagant materials and a sort of noble, even 'imperial' elegance, such as that of traditional 'Fifties debutantes' gowns, compared to the French 'chic'. The first fashion designer, Charles Worth, was a native of Britain, although he made his name in Paris in the 19th century. In the 1920s, Norman Hartnell became known for elaborate evening gowns, and went on to design Queen Elizabeth II's world-renowned wedding and coronation gowns, along with others for many members of the British royal family. Famous British Designers include Vivienne Westwood, Paul Smith, John Galliano, Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, Matthew Williamson, Luella Bartley, Sir Hardy Amies, Christopher Bailey, Bruce Oldfield and Christopher Kane,

American fashion design
The majority of American fashion houses are based in New York, although there are also a significant number in
Los Angeles, where a substantial percentage of clothing manufactured in the US is actually made, and Chicago, which was once a center of American fashion. American fashion design is dominated by a clean-cut, casual style, reflecting the athletic, health-conscious lifestyles of many American city-dwellers. A designer who helped to set the trend in the United States for sport-influenced day wear throughout the 1940's and 50's was Claire McCardell. Many of her designs have been revived in recent decades. More modern influences on the American look have been Calvin Klein (known for classic coats and separates), Ralph Lauren (known for casually elegant clothes in natural fabrics), Uriel Saenz (known for his luxury detailing and superb craftmenship), Anna Sui (known for her unique styles of clothing and for creating new trends), Donna Karan (known for practical, sophisticated women's wear), Kenneth Cole (know for a modern, casual look), Marc Jacobs (known for a diverse style and influences), Michael Kors (for a fresh appeal), and Tommy Hilfiger (known for preppy, modern American style). Also, among the younger American crowd, Hollister, American Eagle, Abercrombie & Fitch, Aéropostale, and Coach predominate.

Italian fashion design
Most of the older Italian couturiers are in
Rome. However, Milan is the Italian fashion capital because it is base to most of the well-known designers, and it is the exhibition venue for their collections. Italian fashion features casual elegance and luxurious fabrics. The first Italian luxury brand was Salvatore Ferragamo (who has exported exquisite hand-made shoes to the U.S. since the 1920s); among the best-known, exclusive fashion names are Valentino ("Rosso Valentino" [Red Valentino] line), Gianfranco Ferrè (boldly-cut, brightly-colored clothes), Giorgio Armani (subtle masculinity for men and women), Gianni Versace (beautifully-cut leather clothes), and Dolce & Gabbana (classic-to-modern avante-garde appeal); per BusinessWeek.com, Gucci is the greatest-selling Italian fashion brand, with world-wide sales of $7.158 billion dollars. [1]

Japanese fashion design
Most
Japanese fashion houses are in Tokyo. The Japanese look is loose and unstructured (often resulting from complicated cutting), colours tend to the sombre and subtle, and richly textured fabrics. The most famous Japanese fashion designers work in Europe and the U.S.A., but the Tokyo designer collection presentations are major international fashion event. Famous Japanese designers are Kenzo (layered looks, highly original knitwear), Issey Miyake (masterful drape and cut), and Rei Kawakubo, who developed a new way of cutting (comparable to Madeleine Vionnet's innovation in the 1930s).

Getting The Most Out of Your Mascara

Do you ever notice how amazing the model’s eyelashes look in the beauty shots for cosmetics ads? Of course they do! They have makeup artists who spend hours making the model's lashes look perfect. Makeup artists on commercial sets use anywhere from three to five different types of mascara, a lash comb, a toothpick, and a tweezers to make each lash stand up just right. If you had a makeup artist poring over your eyelashes for three unbelievable hours then yours would, too. But let’s get real! There are a few basic things you can do to make the most out of whatever mascara you are using:
Replace your mascara every 3 months - old mascara doesn’t go on smoothly, making your lashes dry, short and clumpy looking. If you are on a budget, try to find a great drugstore brand.

Get a hand mirror - when you apply your mascara, hold the mirror down by your nose and look into it. This will allow you to see the root all the way to tips of your eyelashes and gives you the best length possible for application.

“Wiggle and Pull” - wiggle the brush back and forth to ensure your lashes grab the most mascara possible from the wand. It’s great for volume and length.

Go Slow - practice your mascara application technique and take time out of your makeup applying routine to devote to applying your mascara. Great lashes make a big difference!

Move on!

Hmm, i haven't contact most of my friends much after i graduated from high school, and when i look through their pictures in friendster, i notice that i have moved on as much as they have, most of my friends have been to Oz, perth, or maybe KL, New Zealand, studying and im really envious of them, they get to meet so many new friends from around the world as most of the college they enrolled in are international college. The places they get to see are really amazing and really breath-taking. Also, most of my friends from high school are getting married one after another, i am really truly happy for them as marriage for me, is a very very big step in life and it actually shows that they are ready to be responsible for their future which is what makes me so proud of many of them. And i would also like to wish my friends from college the very best in their future, regardless of working life or more studying in ITB....Good Luck, and i have never regret meeting anyone in my life.... I am now doing my best to get ahead and carefully planning my future. But right now, i really wish i have a car....

Catching Up

Today i saw my old friends and we chat for about 20mins bout all our other friends just to catch up on whats new. She look pretty as always and im kinda impressed in her mandarin, its more standard. I have not seen her for a few years till today, which is why im really happy to ran into her, of all places, in Seria, outside Plaza........maybe we can hang out in some cafe, have some tea together some times just to talk and chit chat like the old times.......i guess the both of us have change in different ways, maybe we wouldn't talk about boys or collections like we used to in school, coz we're now in our early 20s, maybe we'll be talking about relationships or future planning, or about our career, who knows...ahh, i actually miss those days when we were all in school and gossiping and just having fun, like the rest of the world doesn't concern us. Anyway, it was a very nice day. An i think i didnt waste my day today.....

Surprise....

Me and my other two friends successfully surprised Nana during lunch, her birthday is suppose to be tomorrow but we surprise her today since all of us have our own plan for tomorrow, and her close friends bring her to a simple chinese cafe where she wouldn't be suspicious, and we creep up behind her with a gift and a b'day cake, it was nice to see the surprise expression when we shout, ok, that would be exaggerating coz there's alot of people in the cafe and we didnt shout it, just say the word..... "Happy Birthday" , she was completely speechless, which was what we wanted.Im'm glad she liked it......
Anyway, i'm also browsing for sony ericsson themes at the moment, for those who are looking for SE themes, just go to www.zedge.net there's lots of nice themes there, my sis kinda looked at me with the pleading eyes, i always cannot resist her cute puppy eyes, and so i agree, Sigh~, always falling into her trap just like that.....I will have to be very careful with her eyes attack next time....

Celebration !

There's so many occasion this month, like my graduation for instance, then theres mother's day which falls on the 11th of May, then a friend of mine, Nana, who is going to turn 23 tomorrow, then there's also my cute and lovely little sister, Shely's birthday on the 17th of May, and not forgetting my mum's birthday on the 19th of May, wah~ T.T i not dare show the content of my purse to anyone as im afraid that people will see a fly flying out of it....... Anyway, my biggest problem right now is, since a few of my friend and me have decided to celebrate nana's birthday today, coz they have plans on the 14th, i was wondering if i should tell them that im very very tight on my hands right now, hahaha, or maybe i can just fake that im still loaded, nah~ That idea is really bad....it'll just make things worst...anyway, my ex-colleague have invited me to join them for lunch at Kaizen and im so looking forward to that but we haven't confirm the date yet.....im so excited, there's so many plans this week and i have just join a class yesterday, Yoga class, today is Hip Hop, wahahaha, im just so not good in dancing, i wonder how i look like when i dance.....then im gonna play table tennis later at 4.30pm, dance class at 5.30pm, heehee, starting to be active again after so many years of just sitting and being a potato couch....i'll sign off for today....
