I think this was about two or three weeks ago, don't remember now, we were given a card competition for our department, you see, everytime someone birthday, we celebrate and was passed a birthday card to sign or put our greeting inside it, which means buying lots of birthday card because almost every week someone birthday, so to save all that, we were given a chance to make our own b'day card design so that it would be a standard card, so meaning to say, everytime someone birthday, we will use the same card. At first, i don't really wanna enter in the competition because i have been making handmade cards alot and so i'm gonna give it a rest on this one. After about a week or so, no one seems to enter in this competition and so my supervisor ask me to take part in this.
Many of my colleague suggest i handmade it, so that it would be very special, but i cannot do that if its going to be standard and it means that everytime someone birthday, i would have to make the card, which i may not have the time to do. So i decide to use computer to design it.
After another week or so, my supervisor suddenly came to me and show me the present and a voucher and told me it's for my card coz' my departmental head like it. So at that time, i was like, "What, i won?" And she said, "Yeah!"
Let me tell you why i won, it was because i am the only one who submit the card. But at least i got all this. A $10 voucher at supasave and a 12 set Marker pen from Smiggle. Cool huh!
