I just finish reading this fiction novel from Jeff Abbott. If you read the synopsis at the back of the book, it makes you really curious. Okay, so i bought the book out of curiosity, but it was quite nice. The title of the book really fits the whole story.This book is about a film-maker (documentary film-maker), named Evan Casher, who was called home by his mother in the early hours of the morning. She did not state the reason, but just pleaded for him to get home. But when he got home, after 3 hours of drive, he found her murdered at her kitchen floor. And someone waiting for him in the house.
From that moment on, his whole life was changed. He found out that his parents have very dark secrets and also his new girlfriend. How she is involved will be revealed in the story.
I wanted to finish reading the book, so i normally bring it to wherever i go, even to restaurant when i was having lunch or dinner, at home, at work, if there is time to spare. But my friend and my boyfriend don't find it in their favour whenever i start to reads. LOL, i suppose they find me so attached to the story that i start ignoring them and just engrossed in the story. They will normally not let me read and ask me to talk with them instead.
But what am i to do if my mind is on the story, and i keep thinking what will happen to Evan Casher next. Haha, it was really funny when i think about it. My boyfriend would hide my book sometimes, but it was also to tease me.
